- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sourdough discard
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Cream together butter and sugar. Add sourdough discard, egg yolks and vanilla.
Stir dry ingredients into wet until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
Scoop dough (~2 tbsps) and place on baking sheet 2-3 inches apart.
Bake 8-11 minutes or until lightly golden. Use circular object (cookie cutter, glass, large mason jar top) to shape cookies if desired.
